Here it is, launched today, the new Mototrial website. Just like before there are places to download the Trial Observer app and an area for clubs to set up and take online entries.

Then there are two important new additions. Firstly there is this new forum. Right now there are just a small number of forums but others will be added whenever they are needed. For instance if the Modern Bikes forum is getting a lot of posts about Betas and Gasgas, I will add specific forums for those makes. If there is something that you think should be added, just email your suggestion to paul@mototrial.co.uk. I have chosen to create my own forum software rather than picking something off the shelf as it allows me to use one log-in and registration to cover the forum and the prediction competition (see below). It's also an interesting coding exercise for me! At the moment the forum is quite basic but I will add features as we go along.

So that leads on to the Trial Predictions Competition. There will be three separate competitions, for X-Trial, Trial GP and Trial GB. The first one to open will be X-Trial, with the expected announcement of the 2026/27 competition coming in the late summer or early autumn. This will be followed by the 2027 versions of Trial GP and Trial GB, with announcements appearing in early 2027.

Remember, this is not my website but one for everyone with an interest in motorcycle trials. It's success will depend on the contributions of everyone, and especially you.
